Way better than OEM!
I have a 2023 Chevy Colorado that has just over 37000 miles on it. The OEM tires that came on it wore down to the wear bars. Those were rated at 60,000 miles. they were noisy, had poor wet traction, poor snow traction, and so-so dry traction.
I replaced the with the Back Country A/T2s and I am very happy so far. We are out of the snow season, but deep into the rainy season. These have great wet traction and even better dry traction. They are quiet, and from what I have seen in the first 700 miles, my fuel mileage is up by about 1 MPG over the stock tires. That may not sound like much, but with today's gas prices I think I have saved the cost of a tank of gas so far.
We're going camping this summer where I will be towing a 5000 pound trailer and doing some off roading, If I can update this review I will.

Early in the purchase
This is an early review for a purchase like this, but I can say something. The tires seem to be quite for the pretty aggressive tread design. The ride is just fine and feels positive. We had a pretty icy late winter and spring, the tires performed flawlessly.
I haven't put too many miles on this set yet, but it seems to be that they are solid in design and performance. I am not racing around or trying to tear up meadows or mountains, just happy about good solid performance.
The store and work crew at the Helena tire shop are excellent in every way.

Ride is amazing and not that loud. Handled amazing towing my 20k toy hauler around a lot of mountains. Don't seem to throw rocks that bad as well. Love them so far.

went from noisy duratrac to these backcountry AT2. they are more ply than my stock half ton tires, that said i like the security of a beefier tire. i have run numerous offroad tires in the past few years, for my truck i wanted an agressive looking tire that is quieter and works well in wet and snow conditions. these are the right tire for me i really like them

Bought them for a 3000 mile road trip
I bought these a month ago for our trip to montana in our ford edge to replace our factory tires.
We put about 3000 through snow, ice, rain, dry, and mud. They held the pavement firmly and I was more than impressed with their quality. I cant speak on treadlife because well... about a month of use lol. But in all climates, on the interstate with terrible potholes, slick, windy turns and hills and the car was stable and felt safe.
