Back Country AT 2's
Very happy with my Back Country AT 2's - They are very smooth when running on the freeway, I drive 28 miles to work daily and they ride very comfortably and there is no road whine traveling at higher speeds. Nice and quiet. They do add weight to the Tacoma compared to the street tires that come from the factory and I have measured my fuel economy. I went from 19.5 mpg to about 17.5 mpg, but this is something i had anticipated and knew was part of the deal. I am confident these tires will perform when driving in the mud and the snow!!!

Schwab Team Members are great
Old tires replaced. I didn't realize tires, even though they look good, can be dangerous. I had loaded my truck with a massive amount of junk steel, plans changed and loaded truck had to sit for two days. Blessing, as I was leaving Minden heading on a 5 hr drive, the light on the dash indicated low pressure on one tire. When I looked closer none of the tires had the same pressure, they varied 2-3 psi difference except the low one, it wavered between 5-7 psi difference. I decided to delay my trip. The next morning, I took it to Les Schwab, it was leaking out of the sidewall. Offered options; I concluded it would be best for me to replace all four tires due to age (leakage) . My truck has a nice ride, so I thought. New tires all the same pressure, smoothest trip ever. All employees attending to my experience were knowledgeable, quick to respond, and completed the tire replacement ASAP. I was on my trip feeling very safe, taken care of and supported with my best interest in mind. I AM GRATEFUL

Solid truck tire
Just a month in but considerably more grip than the stock tires on slick roads. Yet to be tested in the snow. The road noise is not too bad and only slightly more than highway tires.

If at first you don't succeed...
I had initially wanted Falken WildPeak tires for my 2023 Ford Maverick as I had heard others speak well of these. When I was at your store in Pocatello, they did not have these in stock and so recommended these Back Country tires. I was returning home to Boise and they told me that if I did not like these tires that I had a few days switch to the Falkens if the Boise store had them.
Using the ride home to Boise as a test drive, I found the Backcountry tires to be too harsh, noisy, and rough riding on the pavement. Fortunately, the Boise store did have the Falkens and was happy to switch me over, no questions asked. I like these new tires much better and really have to thank Les Schwab for the great customer service. You guys are the best and I will take all my tire business to you.
