TRACTION TIRES AT LES SCHWAB

Traction tires can be used on four-wheel-drive or standard vehicles to provide enhanced grip on the road. All traction tires must have at least an eighth of an inch of tread, allowing them to dig into the road for improved traction. This is why traction tires are a popular choice for backcountry, gravel, or mountain roads with loose, unsteady, or slippery surfaces. Whether you’re crossing a mountain pass or taking the back roads, you’ll be grateful for that extra grip.

Traction tires are all marked as either all-season, mud and snow (“M&S”), or with the Mountain/Snowflake designation. You can use these tires year-round, or swap them with your summer tires when the seasons change.
