Supporting LoveOne, One Neighbor at a Time
LoveOne – Oregon City, OR
October 3, 2025
From hot showers and clean clothes to fresh meals, LoveOne meets people where they are, helping neighbors in need take steps toward stability.
Founded to bridge gaps in basic needs and resources, LoveOne operates an outreach program that includes a mobile shower cart, food trailer, and van, which travel throughout the community multiple times each week. Partnering with laundromats, churches, and local businesses, LoveOne offers free showers, laundry services, meals, and access to other resources like housing assistance.
“We start with one person, one family, one community at a time,” says Brandi Johnson, Executive Director of LoveOne. “That’s why it’s called LoveOne.”
LoveOne’s mission first connected with our Oregon City Les Schwab team years ago, when both came together to support unhoused neighbors camping behind the store. Through that collaboration, LoveOne built relationships, linked people to resources, and helped many transition into housing. Since then, the partnership has grown well beyond the back lot, with the store regularly joining LoveOne for neighborhood cleanup events and other community efforts.
When LoveOne needed new tires for their outreach van and food trailer, which travel across nearly 2,000 square miles of Clackamas County, the team didn’t hesitate to step in.
Those vehicles are essential to what they do,” Moore said. “Making sure they’re safe and reliable on the road is the least we could do.”
The new tires help keep LoveOne’s outreach team on the move – supporting shower events that serve more than 150 individuals each week and a meal program providing over 2,500 meals each month.
At Les Schwab, being part of the community means helping our neighbors. Through Tires for Purpose, we’re helping organizations like LoveOne stay on the road so our community grows stronger, one act of care at a time. Learn more about Tires for Purpose at LesSchwab.com/tiresforpurpose.
