Can't fail with the Toyo m55!
I've now purchased my 4 the set of toyo m55 in a 255/85/16. I purchased the first set when my now 22 year old Tacoma was seeing it's first winter. After a tough winter on that first set ( bear in mind I've driven snowy icy conditions all of my life on many types of tires) , I have never wanted to head into rough weather on any other tire. The 255/85/16 " pizza cutter" is not something I choose for flashy sidewall tread or wide mudder looks. I choose this tire for it's amazing performance. The M55 10 ply with its tough as steel sidewall and extremely deep tread may not provide a soft cushy ride in combination with my heavy load suspension upgrades, but that is not my priority in equipping a 4X4 any more than street appeal is. I'm strictly after performance, and the Toyo m55 delivers. It's not a budget tire, but it wears like iron and is still safe at 60,000 miles of use.

I don't like them.
I don't even have 100 miles on them and hate them. Every time I get on the hi-way it feels like I'm pulling a trailer that is swaying all over. I don't even want to think about what it will be like when I try to pull my boat.

Les Schwab scheduling error
The M-55 is an excellent tire which I have utilized for over 25 years. Les Schwab however scheduled an alignment with the tire installation while the alignment machine was broken. Due to their error I had to make a second trip to complete the front end alignment following the new tire installation.
