Another great Les Schwab snow tire
Purchased in December’22 to contend with the major North Idaho snow storms. I needed a safe snow tire for my family as we ski every weekend so getting up and down the ski area roads is really important.

Winter Tires
I bought a new set of studded winter tires just before the snow and subfreezing temperatures came this year. I am so happy that I did since they give me the confidence of safety, especially in the mornings when ice is most prevalent. I was also able to buy a used set of Honda rims (which match my car) to mount them on, which ended up saving me money.

First time buying snow tires, worth every penny
First time buying snow tires, worth every penny. I drive from Washington state to the Bend area in Oregon every weekend. I typically drive over the Mount Hood pass. No problems whatsoever. The traffic advisory states traction tires are or snow chains required, which I do have chains but have not yet had to use them. These snow tires do phenomenal. Great traction, stick to the road pretty well. Would definitely purchase again

Good tires better service
Put a set of iPike RS2 tires on my 2019 Leaf for winter driving over the passes. Ended up needing them sooner than expected. Hit some serious snow over Hwy2 late one evening and car did well, much better than stock all seasons which are hard as a rock and basically skateboards on snow. In truth you could get good reasonable snow tires at Costco or similar for less money but the service is what carries the day. The store in Arlington is great and I go back because they take care of me and other vehicles as well. Had an issue with a strut that broke on my wife’s Pilot, should have never happened but it did, and they covered everything without an argument. I’ve brought in tires they didn’t sell and they’ve taken care of flats without charge because I shop there. All in all you need good hardware but great service makes the difference.
